As part of St Martin’s C of E Primary School which is situated in the heart of Liskeard, our nursery offers an exciting and vibrant learning environment , with a positive ethos and a warm family atmosphere which welcomes both children and families.
We have well-qualified, experienced, caring staff who enable us to provide the very best in early years education. The children are continually encouraged to explore new experiences, discuss and develop their interests and celebrate their wonderful ideas and cultural backgrounds.
There is access to all the main school resources, including the playground equipment, fields and the hall for PE. A strong emphasis is placed on outdoor learning, with our morning sessions being based in our exciting ‘Wild Warriors’ area. Here, each child is encouraged and supported to explore, investigate and learn within the natural environment.
For instance, we enjoy playing in the mud kitchen, using real tools, story time under the natural canopy, climbing trees and singing songs around the campfire.
The Nursery is open from 8.45-3.15 Monday to Friday during school term time and welcome all three and four year olds.
